Hawaiian Twilight

If a visitor to Waikiki were to turn their attention away from the Pacific toward the mountains (mauka),
they would see the leeward side of the Ko'olau Range. Like the famous Diamond Head, Ko'olau is the remnant
of a long extinct volcano that helped form Oahu Island. From outside my studio, I've had many
spectacular sunset views through the palms, as captured in this painting.
