Pacific Pyrotechniques No. 1

Each June, the Royal Cosmetics Company of Japan holds a convention in Waikiki
that includes a public fireworks display. Usually, I miss them because I don’t
know when they are planned, but this year I finally made it to the beach just in
time.

I was most impressed with the coloration of the smoke against the inky night sky,
and the bright reflections in the waves of the Pacific Ocean.
