Birds In Paradise 2

Years ago, I visited a park which featured an assortment of parrots that you could
interact with. The park itself was a beautiful romantic island backdrop, that you
might see in a movie or tourist brochure.

Now, I live in an urban setting surrounded by tall modern buildings that only allow
sporadic glimpses of our island beauty. For me, this painting is like looking through
a window -- back into that park. I love waking up each morning to see these
Birds in Paradise, as if they were in my own backyard.

These paintings do well as individual pieces of art, or they can be placed side by
side to form a panoramic diptych -- the Blue Hyacinth Macaws on the left, the colorful
Macaws and waterfall on the right.
